Jeff Auw

Lead Pastor

Jeff was born in Southern California, but has lived most of his life in the Treasure Valley. While Jeff prayed to accept Christ at an early age, he didn’t fully understand and begin striving to live for Him until he was in high school. During his “youth group” years, God began transforming his life and shaping him for his calling in ministry. Jeff has developed a passion to see the church impact the community around it and leave a lasting mark. He is excited to see this happen as the church grows, multiplies, and moves into new neighborhoods.

Jeff went to school at Northwest Nazarene University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion in 2006 and then completed a Master of Arts degree in Missional Leadership in May 2013. Throughout those years Jeff served as a pastor at two different churches before accepting a position at Centerpoint Church in Murrieta, California in September 2013. During his time at Centerpoint Church, Jeff served as the Connections Pastor and planted Centerpoint’s first off-site campus, Centerpoint French Valley, in October 2015. In December 2016, Jeff responded to the call to return to the Treasure Valley and now serves as the Lead Pastor at Outpost Church.

In March 2008 Jeff married his best friend, Amaya, who currently serves part-time as Outpost’s Administrative Assistant. Jeff and Amaya have 3 boys, Elias, Ezekiel, and Malachi. When Jeff and Amaya are not serving the church, you can most likely find them taking their boys on some kind of adventure, doing their best to make memories, and wear them out!

Briana Kline

Worship Leader

Briana has lived in the PNW all of her life. She wouldn’t consider herself an “outdoorsy” person; but she has found that in the mountains, on trails, or watching the gorgeous Idaho sunsets helps her to feel connected to our Creator.

The Church has been an essential part of her life ever since birth. Some of her fondest childhood memories are hanging out at the church building with her sisters, while her mom would print copies of worship music and pick the songs for the overhead projector–who remembers those??! Every year at kids camps, she and her best friend would create dances to ZoeGirl songs to do for the talent shows. In middle school she started singing on worship teams and helping lead at youth events. This is really when God started cultivating dreams and desires of worship and serving in Briana’s heart.

After high school, Briana took two-years of Bible college courses, followed by two years of community college before having her beautiful daughter, Zoe. She has served on just about every youth and worship team you can imagine, as it’s one of her biggest passions. And, though seasons of life have brought her in and out of full-time “ministry”, her heart has always been connecting with and loving the people around her, wherever she may be.

When Briana is not serving at Outpost, she may be spotted at a nearby Target with her daughter. Or it is possible they are at home, dressed up as princesses, and building pillow castles while dancing to The Greatest Showman soundtrack.

She is so excited for her season at Outpost. From day one, she’s truly felt our mission in her core; and she has linked arms with a few around her and is the first to shout “let’s do this!”

Emily Tenhulzen

Children’s Director

Emily is a Treasure Valley native who grew up in the church and was
raised to have a deep faith. She loves Jesus greatly and strives to shows
His love through her life, holding herself to a standard of grace, not

She currently attends Boise Bible College where she studies Children’s
Ministry with an emphasis on Intercultural Studies (missions).

Working with children and teaching them about Jesus is Emily’s passion.
She loves the way kids love so deeply, the way their brains process and
interpret the world, and the joy they bring to life. That’s why Emily is
dedicating her life to teaching them and raising them to love Jesus.
Traveling is another one of Emily’s great loves. She absolutely adores
experiencing new places, cultures, and people. She hopes to travel for
the rest of her life and explore the world.

Emily likes to consider herself a photographer, although she wouldn’t go
so far as to call herself a professional.

If she’s not helping in ministry, she’s probably binging on a TV-show,
reading a book, or eating Chick-Fil-A.

Logan Randall

Guest Services Director

Logan is an Idaho native, born and raised in the Treasure Valley. She has had the enormous privilege of being raised in a family that belonged to the Lord and can’t remember a time she wasn’t steeped in His love, but it wasn’t until she was 20 years old that she felt the call to cast off all else and pursue Him with everything she had to offer. Her very favorite ways to serve the Lord are with her writing and serving/loving people with whatever they may need. She has a passion for inner healing and guiding people to the way the Holy Spirit soothes wounds and redeems stories for the good of the Kingdom.

Logan married her high school crush, Caleb, in 2012 and he is the ingredient in her life that makes it wonderfully exciting. They have two golden retrievers and they love to hike, kayak, drink coffee, eat good food, and travel anywhere the flights are cheap, especially the UK. Together they find so much joy in renovating old homes, believing that it is the perfect representation of what our Father does with our old lives, so full of dust and potential.

On her own time, you can find Logan reading books (like, so many books), writing, drinking coffee with friends, playing with her dogs, wreaking havoc with her large, rambunctious family and dreaming about the Oregon Coast. She loves rain, poetry, puzzles, and passionately believes that a meal is incomplete unless there is dessert.
